kiwibat asked: A graveyard picnic in Sleepy Hollow sounds wonderful!
steampunksoftheworld asked: If you could just have a tiny quick look at my new blog I'd really appreciate it. It's for Steampunks from around the world to submit pictures of themselves and meet other Steampunks. I just need some help getting the message around, so any help would honestly be appreciated!

MÜTTER MUSEUM GOTH MEETUP!!!
The people have spoken, and the date that has been most prominent is JUNE 1, 2012.
We need 10 people for the group rate ($8/person), so I’m going to put in a group form as soon as I possibly can, with the assumption that we’ll all be walking around by ourselves and without a tour guide. I may even call the museum about this since we don’t seem to have a set number of people...
wretched-babybat asked: Hey there, just wondering if there were any updates about the meetup?

MÜTTER MUSEUM MEETUP DATE POLL.
Okay, to get the ball moving a little bit, I’ve decided to start a POLL as to what date would be supreme for the “Mütter Museum Goth Meetup.” I will pick a week, and we will go from there. The museum is open 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. If you have a day that is best for you, please put that down as well! (Since I’m organizing this, I limited it to dates that would be best for...

skeletalroses asked: No, no, I meant "holidays" to mean general "time off" periods. June or July would certainly work for most students, though (unkind summer heat aside).
theeverydaygoth asked: A June/July meet up would be awesome because with all of the inevitable camera whoring during the meet up we could end up on the Goths in Hot Weather blog. Yeah. Friggen awesome.
skeletalroses asked: Would it be better to attempt to plan the museum event sometime around the holidays? I am a college student, so during breaks is the only time I would be able to attend, but I don't know how that sort of timing would work out for others...
kiwibat asked: How many people do you estimate will show up for the meet up?
theeverydaygoth asked: Thank you so much for getting this set up! I'll keep promoting the topics you put up through my blog and hopefully we can get some great meet ups started!

First Order of Business: Mutter Museum Goth Meetup
Who would be interested in helping plan this?
We need: A date, group discount information, carpool setup system, etc. etc.
I know that I’ll be writing an article on this once it gets rolling a little bit… I’m going to try and get some help from other people who have run events.
More importantly:
If we do this, we should get a decent count for estimation. Who is interested...
