I think so! It’s very close to me… By about a half hour or so. I would need to check if picnics are allowed… To Google!

If not, a photoshoot is more than welcomed, as long as we are respectful of the old graves and the visitations of mourning families.

STEAMPUNK WORLD’S FAIR!

I should have posted this sooner!

Jeff, a good friend of mine, has founded and run several different alt-friendly events in the past, and Steampunk World’s Fair (SPWF, for short) is but one of them.

It will be the weekend of May 18-20 at the Radisson in Piscataway, NJ.

Advanced tickets are available online until the 14th (sorry for such short notice!)

I can tell you from experience that this is an amazing event, that often involves mass amounts of costuming, Voltaire, and absinthe. What’s not to love?!?

MÜTTER MUSEUM GOTH MEETUP!!!

The people have spoken, and the date that has been most prominent is JUNE 1, 2012.

We need 10 people for the group rate ($8/person), so I’m going to put in a group form as soon as I possibly can, with the assumption that we’ll all be walking around by ourselves and without a tour guide. I may even call the museum about this since we don’t seem to have a set number of people coming.

I guess I’ll put it this way: If you are DEFINITELY coming, please either reblog this with a “I’m going!!” or message this tumblr with that same message, so we can get an estimate of how many are going on June 1st.

That way, I can set things in stone and get a time in place.
